What is the Professional Women's Group (PWG)?

A small group of employed women who come together regularly to support each other by sharing experiences, giving & receiving advice, and celebrating each others wins.

We know how challenging it can be to tackle your professional goals alone. Path to Employment is a 6 week mentorship program that is designed to make your search more manageable and rewarding. Have the flexibility to set your schedule each week, while you and your mentor work together to gain the skills you’ll need to help you land a new/better job. 

This is a 6 week program that runs from August 7th - September 11h, 2023. Each session is 1 hour long and can be completed virtually. If you complete all six sessions, we’ll give you $100 towards overcoming a career obstacle. Register now and take the first steps towards achieving your professional goals!

Untangled: A Discovery Into Black Hair is designed to empower those who want to know more about the intersectionality & depth within black hair. This workshop highlights how bias and stereotypes can affect young black girl's communities. Topics include the history of black hair in America, colonization, Eurocentric hair standards, colorism, cultural appropriation, adultification, modern-day introduction to hair care and hairstyles

This workshop is NOT a hair tutorial on how to do hair BUT it will provide basic education and hair care tips.
